I think I'd do just what he did, provided I was able to keep my composure. I think had he moved he may we well have not lived to tell the story. Moose are unpredictable and especially with a calf. very dangerous situation, no thank you.
That is amazing I do not know what I would do. But I agree with Terry, moose are unpredictable. That guy is very lucky that he did not scare her
