That time of the year...

Fur trappin season is gettin close. So much to do, so little time! Got to dye and wax traps, sort out gear, send in my orders for replacements, etc., etc, not to mention deer bow season opens in this area today. Then there's goose n turkey huntin, scoutin, patchin boats, tuning 4 wheelers and snowmachines, nuisance animal control, dog training....aw hell, maybe I'll just go fishin!

Ya, I know what yer thinkin: add "clean up the yard" to that list!

Hi Bushman - Rex over at Deer Camp Blog sent me to check out your site...it's really nice! Being a lady huntress I can understand where you are coming from trying to get everything in order for hunting season. A lot to do and so little time. Appreciate your support of the OBS. Whatever we can do to help...just let us know. Goodhunting to you and will also add you to my blogroll. :)

Thanks SB. Ya, you got a good site, I was on it fer a while. I always like to see how it's done in far away lands...

My wife has folks over there, been there myself twice. They tell me it's perfectly legal to drive around at night with a spotlight and a silencer on ther rifle!

Sounds like you have a lot of tasks ahead of you. I saw that you're flashing the OBS badge, so I added you to the OBS blogroll. You've already seen a few of the OBS members stop by. I imagine there will be more.

BM,

I taught for about 7 years until the need to make more $$ forced me into another field of work. I was very lucky in that most of my teachers were avid outdoorsman . . .

Spotlight and silencer? You from Maine? LOL!

Round here they don't bother with the silencer...
